Apple stock rallies 5%, Dow Jones 1,200 points up

Day after the Senate of U.S. passed the $2 trillion stimulus deal for Coronavirus, Apple stock (AAPL) rallied 5 per cent while Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied more than 1,200 points on Thursday.

Apple stock opened at $246.52 and touched the high of $258.68 and low of $246.36. Market capitalization of Apple is currently $1.12 Trillion.

The breakout of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) has disrupted the global stock market. In U.S., the total cases of Covid-19 jumped above 80,000. The pandemic has claimed the lives of 1100. Globally, the cases of Covid-19 crossed the half-million mark, with the death toll touching 23,633.

Fear of Covid-19 has crashed the stock market globally. In US, the benchmarks is more than 20% off their 52-week high.
