Currently, on the Pro lineup of iPad, we have two iPad Pro. An 11-inch iPad Pro (2nd Generation) and a 12.9 inch iPad Pro (4th Generation). However, there were some reports that Apple might discontinue iPad Pro 11 inches. Only the 12.9 inches of iPad Pro will be launched in the next generation of iPad Pro. But according to site Macotakara, Apple is expected to announce an 11-inch (3rd Generation) and a 12.9 inch iPad Pro (5th Generation) in the coming March of this year. As per the report, the design of the iPads will remain more or less the same as what the current generation of iPad Pro has.

However, the internal specs would definitely be upgraded with a new powerful processor. Apple iPad Pro is set to come with a custom A14X processor which should be fast and powerful than the original A14 bionic. Since currently the iPad Air with A14 bionic is even powerful than the iPad Pro 4th gen.

Earlier there were some reports claiming that Apple might be working on M1 core chips for iPads. The M1 chips are first seen on MacBooks and they are seriously very powerful.

From a physical design perspective, Apple might change the number of speaker holes or the placement of the speakers. Maybe Apple might reduce it to 2 more powerful speakers than 4 speakers which currently we have in the iPad Pro lineup.

The reports also say that the bigger iPad Pro 12.9 inch one, will have a mini- LED display technology. The pricing of these iPads will be high, and the release date is not yet confirmed, however, expect the new set of iPad Pro to be launched in the market by mid of March 2021.
