Rumors are floating all around related to iPhone 9 which is slated to release on April 15. However, Apple might rename the upcoming device to iPhone SE 2020.
According to 9to5Mac “Apple will simply call the new entry-level model “iPhone SE” while referencing the new hardware as the 2020 version.”
Apple had initially used the iPhone SE marketing name for the 4-inch model that uses the iPhone 5s body and carries the camera and processor from the iPhone 6S.
iPhone 9 is expected to use the same A13 processor as the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Plus. Apple will release the iPhone 9 in three color options, namely – Red, Black, and White.
Talking about the specs, iPhone 9 will be available in three variant – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of internal storage clubbed with 3 GB RAM. Considering the specs that highly matches with iPhone 8, Apple might stuff the iPhone with 1,821 mAh battery.
Earlier in December 2019, Macrumors.com claimed that the device would be called as iPhone 9. To put weight on the claim, it is to inform that Apple had skipped the iPhone 9 nomenclature so the claimed made by Macrumors seems trust worthy.
The device with a 4.7-inch display, would be larger than the original iPhone SE with a 4-inch display and will start with a price tag of $399. It is worth mentioning that Apple currently sells its iPhone 8 starting at $449.
