Google TV is Going to Add Free Live TV

Do you want to hear something fun on this lovely Friday? Possibly soon, Google TV will offer free live TV. I mean, really.

Users can enjoy "50 channels of live TV without the need to subscribe, sign-up, or download," according to the diligent code-digging by 9to5Google(opens in new tab).

It is stated that these stations will offer "news, sports, movies, and programmes."

A Reelz channel and a Hallmark Movies channel could possibly be added to Google TV.

A Reelz channel and a Hallmark Movies channel could possibly be added to Google TV.

Many of the channels can also be found on other websites that stream TV shows for free, like Sling TV, Pluto TV, and Philo.

The only distinction is that in order to access these channels on other platforms, you must register.

However, they require registration, whereas Google is adopting the strategy used by several TV manufacturers, such as LG and Samsung, with their Smart TVs.

According to the list so far, it appears that Google has acquired a good number of recognisable networks and companies to bolster its free live TV possibilities.
