Xiaomi Announces Mijia Glasses, Check What they Are

The Xiaomi Mijia Glasses reportedly come with a 50MP quad-bayer four-in-one wide-angle camera and an 8MP periscope telephoto camera.

The camera is capable of split OIS. It sports a 16x hybrid zoom in addition to a 5x optical zoom. It is said to allow wearers to record videos in real time.

The Mijia Glasses were introduced by the Chinese company Xiaomi. Starting on August 3, the sunglasses are up for crowdfunding on the XiaomiYouPin website.

Specifications for the glasses have been made available to the general public. The Mijia eyewear is rumoured to come with a 50MP quad-bayer four-in-one wide-angle camera and an 8MP periscope telephoto camera with split optical image stabilisation (OIS).

The eyeglasses reportedly weigh about 100g. Mijia glasses contain a 15x hybrid zoom in addition to a 5x optical zoom. Qualified buyers can make direct internet reservations for the Xiaomi Mijia Glasses.

The Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera is CNY 2,699 in price (about Rs 31,500). According to reports, the eyeglass camera would be available for CNY 2,499 throughout the crowdsourcing period (roughly Rs 29,200).
